Welcome to Novia UAS in Turku!

Welcome to the Turku Campus of Novia University of Applied Sciences in Henriksgatan 7, 20500 Turku!

This campus consists of the main building, a library and a big cafeteria. Of course the main building doesn’t only consist of classrooms. Here you can get an idea of what is awaiting you in the main building!

This is one of the main entrances of the building, on the first floor.

The first floor consists of two levels. On the same level of the main entrance you will find a few areas to lounge, the restrooms, a wardrobe and the big stairwell.

Next to the stairwell you can access the second level of the first floor.

Here you will find the student café “Lowelia“. This is a great place for getting some work done in a relaxed atmosphere as well as enjoying coffee, tea and snacks, like fruit, sweets and sandwiches.

Most of the time Novia students sit here to study or to work on group projects, as it provides many tables and another lounging area.

In 2020 the owner of the café will change, so it won’t be run by students anymore. But don’t worry, you will still be able to get drinks, snacks and take a seat.

On the second floor you will find classrooms and offices. Besides that, another working area with many tables and computers are located here.

If you decide to spend your semester abroad at Novia, you should keep in mind the room number 208. Here Isabelle Bonnet has her Office, also called the International Office.

She is the most important contact for you as an international student, and also your first contact person at Novia. Be sure to check out our interview with Isabelle on the “Lifestyle” section of our blog, to get to know Isabelle a little bit better.

In the third floor you can find classrooms and IT-rooms.

In the fourth, and highest floor all teacher’s offices are located. Whenever you need to talk to one of your teachers, you can simply “pop in” (as they like to say), and address your issues.

As well you will find a few meeting rooms on this floor. They can be rented by students and teachers and used for professional meetings with project partners, like external companies or other stakeholders.
